Kristie C. Jones has devoted her life to rescuing
abandoned, abused and unwanted animals.
Kristie along with all the animals feature in her
book, "Stories from Black Dog Ranch", live on a
small farm in the green rolling hills of
Southeastern Missouri.

Growing up on a farm, Kristie discovered from an early age that she had a special
relationship with animals. Kristie has been a voice for these animals and in her book she
tells the stories from their point of view. It's their story!
Kristie's hope is to bring awareness through the stories in her book to the
overwhelming need for animal adoption. There are countless dogs just
like the ones at Black Dog Rescue Ranch who are sure to bring amazing blessings into
the lives of anyone willing to share a little time with them.

Gena E. Faulkner
Gena is the sister of the Author and like
Kristie, she was raised on a farm in
Southeastern Missouri. Her love of animals,
especially horses has not only brought much
joy to her life, but has been her inspiration for
her art.

She resides on a small farm in Southeast Missouri with her husband and two daughters
who share her love of animals. She also has two grown sons.
